Imagine that you have a message displayed on your Windows desktop, which you would like to save it and read it later. Or, all of a sudden, a program gives you an error message and you would like to show this to the developer, in order for him to fix the bug. The problem is that capturing the desktop using the Windows specialized tool is a very inconvenient and difficult process, as it requires following a series of steps. Fortunately, there are specialized applications on the market which makes capturing the desktop a breeze.

Bug Shooting is one of these programs. Don't be fooled by the program's name, as it wasn't only designed for capturing messages caused by software bugs, allowing you to capture virtually anything displayed in the screen. After installing the program, the user will notice the system tray icon, which allows capturing the desktop just by clicking on it. At this point, the user will need to select the area of the desktop that should be captured.

After doing this, a new window will appear, which resembles the one of MS Paint, but has many more features, For example, the user can add various shapes and callouts to a captured image, for showing a certain element or object included inside of it. What's more, the user can save the screenshot in various image formats and can even print it directly. By right clicking on the program's icon in the system tray and accessing the context menu, one will be able to select the type of screenshot that should be created by Bug Shooting, either full screen, active window or certain region. This will give the user full control over the captured elements.

Pros

It allows you to capture the desktop in various ways, using an intuitive interface. Besides that, there is a complex image editor included in the program, which allows you to add various elements to a captured image and save it in a wide range of graphical formats.

Cons

There is no way to share the captured images online, directly using the application. Bug Shooting allows you to capture your desktop with ease, in various ways, using an intuitive interface.
